Student Video Contest 2025
Show off your econ smarts and creativity in CEE’s Econ Ed Month Student Video Contest! K-12 students nationwide are invited to answer the question: “How does your local economy impact the global economy?” for a chance to win cash prizes and a trip to Tokyo!
The Contest opens on October 1, 2025 and closes on October 19, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
Videos will be judged on both the strength of their economic concepts and the creativity of their approach.
Just remember these 5 simple rules:
Videos must be 60 seconds or less.
Entries must be submitted by teachers on behalf of their students.
There is no limit on the number of videos a teacher may submit for their class.
Videos may feature up to three students.

Prizes
Economists’ Choice Prizes: one winner will be chosen in each of the following grade bands: K-4; 5-8; 9-12.
Winning teachers will each receive: $500 in Amex gift cards for classroom use.
Each student in the winning video will receive a $100 Amex gift card.
International Winner Prize: up to four middle school or high school students:
Will receive a free trip to Tokyo, Japan, to celebrate their win with CEE Japan video contest winners.
Will win round-trip flights from New York City to Tokyo and 4 nights' accommodation to join the CEE Japan-hosted Tokyo Award Ceremony on December 14, 2025. Special thank you to ANA and JAL airlines for air travel.
